My partner and I called on a whim looking for a sparkly tux blazer for our elopement in Vegas the same day. The owner opened the store for us (on a holiday, no less!) and was very accommodating of our specific needs and budget. We were so excited to find the perfect outfit for my fiancee and it really added a wonderful chapter in our wedding story. Thanks so much!!

This store was a delightful experience. They have hundreds and hundreds of amazing high quality costumes to buy and for rent. You could put on several Broadway musicals with their selection. The owners were knowledgeable and helpful and worked with us to figure out the best options for what we were going for.

I was in town for a short stint and needed a costume for a short film I was doing back on the east coast. I contacted American Costumes on a whim. Tina and her husband (didn’t get his name) took my phone call after business hours to help out with my needs. The next day I went to the store and they went above and beyond to get me into the PERFECT costume. The film crew were ecstatic with the find and I was made at ease with traveling across country directly on to set with everything I needed. American Costumes was quick, affordable, efficient and wonderful customer service.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I called 20 minutes before closing, desperately searching for an adult mens batman costume to surprise my 5 year old nephew at his birthday party the next day. They were so sweet, they knew immediately what they had available and even stayed open 20 minutes after closing, waiting for me to fight through traffic to get there. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

An unparalleled selection of traditional costumes for sale and rent. Showgirls, Elvis, Egypt, Marilyn and more. A few Halloween grade items, but mostly stage quality. Great addition for photo shoots at our studio across the parking lot.
